The VA Medical Foster Home Program is a long term care option for Veterans who are unable to live independently, need extra support and would prefer to live in a home setting. Veterans will receive room, board, all meals, personal care assistance, and 24-hour supervision while living in a Medical Foster Home. The VA will provide the support of an interdisciplinary home care team (Home Based Primary Care) to help        manage the medical needs of the veteran(s).
